As part of their extracurricular elementary school / college offer, Editions Hatier wanted to redesign the UI and the fonctionnement of the Hatier Entraînement website, to create an online training platform that combines the exercises of 4 different collections, for CP classes to the 3rd, with 7 different subjects. The challenge of the site is important, since it aims, over time, to become a brand in its own right, like Annabac or Bescherelle.
The main problem was therefore to create an experience and a design adapted to both 5-year-olds children, accompanying parents on the site and 15-year-olds teenagers. So we first reworked the definition of the primary target to make a more suitable design. The site proposes an entry by class then by subject to directly segment the user. We also worked on the responsive site to improve the mobile experience.
Role in the project
In collaboration with extracurricular marketing, I conducted a competitive analysis and release a mood board for the site. Then from the specifications and the user journey, I create the wireframes and designs of the site. I also worked on illustrations. We are working on the site's UX, either on the color code or for easy navigation. The site was developed under Drupal 7, with a lot of work for formatting exercises, that were from a third party software.
